Practice Areas

Our attorneys focus in the following practice areas:

Estate Planning — Our firm handles Estate Planning matters, dealing with the distribution of an individual’s property at his or her death, taking into account wills, taxes, insurance, property and trusts so as to gain maximum benefit of all laws and, at the same time, carrying out the person’s wishes.

Probate & Trust Administration — Probate is the court proceeding through which a will is proved to be valid and the estate of a decedent is administered. The process, generally, includes collecting a decedent’s assets, liquidating liabilities, paying necessary taxes and distribution of property to heirs.

Real Estate Law — Our firm represents clients in all proceedings and transactions that deal with real property land and the structures attached to it. We review and draft purchase agreements, examine title issues and correct title problems, prepare closing documents, and attend or conduct closings. We also prepare other real estate documents such as leases, easements, mortgages and contracts for deed. All of our services are performed conscientiously and with expertise.

Business Law — We provide a wide variety of services to our business clients from entity selection and formation to the formalities of running the business, transactions, business financing, and space acquisition, sale and purchase of businesses, employee relations and business dissolutions. We also represent owners in connection with succession planning, estate and tax matters.

General Litigation — Our firm represents and advises clients who are or might become involved in a lawsuit or appeal as a result of a dispute, including prevention and settlement, in such areas as personal injury and employment claims, contract disputes, and family law and commercial matters.

Sports Law — Our firm has an entire department of attorneys with expertise in this complex area of the law which includes art, entertainment, sports, tourism, travel, and leisure; often extends into contract, copyright and tort matters; and requires negotiation and drafting of sophisticated and complex legal documents as well as litigation.
